Registration Details:

Step 1:  Request accomodation at the Mountain Plaza Hotel in Davos, via this link. (a) Make sure that you chose Mountain Plaza Hotel from the Hotel overview - just in case that it does not pop up by itself. (b) Indicate your travel dates and check availability. (c) DO NOT select a room! Instead, request a room! (d) By virtue of the next pop up window, fill out requested info and - MOST IMPORTANTLY - indicate in the free text message box: S3C conference. The hotel will come back on you with some suggestion(s) via Email in order to finalize your booking, and you will receive the special conference rate. Note, that his needs to be done before New Years eve, when the guaranteed quota of reserved rooms runs out. Afterwards, you would compete with other vacationers for availability, and the special conference rate would not apply anymore. Should you feel that this procedure is inappropriately demanding you might consider instead to send an accomodation request directly via email to [email protected]. In any case, make sure to indicate >>> S3C conference <<<.

Step 2: We kindly ask you to register via the conference homepage s3c.ch. This registration will open as soon as the latest of all web shop admin issues is solved, likely throughout January. We will send a second circular to announce availability. Note, that we collect a moderate conference fee of € 350,- in order to cover central incidentals (for the lecture hall, coffee breaks etc.) that arise throughout the five day meeting.

Step 3: Each participant is invited to submit an abstract of his or her presentation, oral or poster alike, for inclusion into the conference program and into the book of abstracts. This shall be done via the abstract-submission page at the top. The submission is open, and it will close by the last week of February. We aim to provide a printed booklet.

Step 4: Feel free to encourage coworkers and friends to participate and to register.

Many thanks for your support, and do not hesitate to come back on us for any kind of questions and issues of concern.
